I am Mateo, an Economics Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins University.
During academic year 2022-2023, I will be an NBER Dissertation Fellow in Behavioral Macroeconomics.
My main research interests are in Household Finance and the distribution of wealth.
I am passionate about quantitative economics and open-source software. I am an avid contributor to econ-ARK and its HARK toolkit for modeling heterogeneous agents’ economic choices. You can see my contributions here.
